[ At some point during the otherwise empty showing of Shrek Titanic - probably Escha's third viewing of it, by now - she and Logy's arms brushed against each other on the arm rest. And, well, you know. Normal coworker stuff, etc. Good thing the arm rests can be pushed up? Maybe they should have been in a bed instead of chairs. Oh well, too late now.

Escha awkwardly... Climbs down from Logy's lap and sits down in her own seat beside him, adjusting her rumpled clothes and smoothing her skirt out. This is fine. ]

[ For how abrupt all of that was, for one. For kissing him, for two. They hadn't kissed the first time. ]

[This is fine, honestly. Logy's never minded being with Escha. Even this is just... it's just part of their normal coworker duties to try and keeping each other alive.]

Changes nothing between them... She doesn't disagree, but her baseline with Logy is in a different place. Some of the unspoken assumptions she's made about the Logy from her own time can't necessarily apply to a younger Logy, and that's feels weird - but she can't place why.

Feelings are hard and bad. Avoiding acknowledging them is better. ]

[The two of them are on slightly different footings, and he only really remembers that now that his head isn't quite so cloudy.]

[ What Escha values is that they can talk to each other. The few times they aren't on the same wavelength, she doesn't want it to be hard to say so. ]

I just... [ But is there a way to say "I'd like it to change things?" Something like that oversteps the limits of that whole 'just talk to each other' rule. Just a step too far for her. ] I just hope that you're right.

[Their relationship is... still good, isn't it? That future Logy is coming back, or he said he did.]

[ She mulls this over, attempting to give it due diligence while also resolutely not understanding her own feelings. It is the biggest waste of time. ]

[Logy has made no attempt to really consider his own feelings. Most of the time he can just set them aside and say "I'll deal with this later" and never get around to later.

[They don't have to examine their feelings too closely. They just have to be there for each other. At least that's the same thing they've had since they've known each other.]
